Dr. Steinhauser was among five Pitt-UPMC Faculty elected into American Society for Clinical Investigation. “The ASCI comprises more than 3,000 physician-scientists from all medical specialties representing the rich diversity of backgrounds inherent to those they serve… dedicated to the advancement of research that extends our understanding and improves the treatment of diseases of all people, and members are committed to mentoring future generations of physician-scientists of diverse backgrounds and biomedical disciplines.”
Dr. Steinhauser will be officially inducted into the Society on April 8 as part of the 2021 AAP/ASCI/APSA joint meeting, held virtually April 8-10.
