On Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, Dr. Lisa Butterfield moved from being the Vice President to the first female President of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), in its 32 year history. It is a 1,600+ member society of scientists, physicians, industry and pharma and other stakeholders involved in immunotherapy research. They just had their annual meeting in National Harbor, Washington DC, with a new record of 2,700+ attendees. She will be President for 2 years.
