1. Novel therapeutics that regulate inflammatory signaling and metabolic dysregulation caused by environmental insults.
2. Alterations in bile acid metabolism that contribute to the obesity-associated asthma phenotype. Current funding for liver research includes the PLRC feasibility grant in collaboration with Dr. Carla Ng; studying the impacts of polyfluorinated alkylated substances (PFAS) on liver metabolism.
