Liver-Related Work

My research program focuses on the pathogenesis and immunity of emerging viruses. The overarching goal of this work is to identify areas of pathophysiology that could be targets of therapeutic intervention. In the conduct of this work, we utilize animal model systems, clinical specimens from cases of human disease, and in vitro models.
