Dr. Kari Nejak-Bowen, Associate Professor of Pathology, Director of the Enrichment program of the Pittsburgh Liver Research Center, was honored by the Biomedical Graduate Student Association as “Outstanding Mentor of the Year” for 2022.
Dr. Salim Khan, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, presented Dr. Nejak-Bowen with a plaque as well as the “Philosophers Stone” commemorating the honor at the 2022 Biomedical Graduate Student Association Symposium on November 2nd.
